Its flesh is said to be less aromatic than that of lobster, but this is only a question of taste, since both have fine and delicate flesh that is best not overcooked.
COOKING (thawed)
Oven: open butterfly and bake for about 15 minutes at 350°F. Brush with salted butter before baking if desired.
Lobster can be cooked without first defrosting, directly in the oven at 450°F (210°C) in a Pyrex dish. Drizzle with olive oil and/or garlic butter and cook for about 30 minutes.
BBQ: butterfly open and cook for about 5-7 minutes, flesh side down. Turn over and continue cooking until the flesh comes away.
