Frog legs, whose delicate flavor is often compared to that of chicken, are quick and easy to prepare. Delicious as an appetizer or side dish.
COOK FROM DEFROST
Soak for 1 hour in water to prevent them from drying out.
Oven: Season with salt and pepper and then flour. Heat 30g butter with 1 tablespoon oil in a large non-stick frying pan. Sauté the frog legs over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Deep fryer: Heat to 375°F (190°C). Coat the frog legs with flour, egg, flour. Fry in small batches for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and keep warm.
Frog legs can be kept frozen for 2 to 3 months.
