Chicken poké bowl kit: three flavors to choose from (Texan, Souvlaki, or Teriyaki)

Create a homemade chicken poké bowl with the Aliments DKL kit. Marinated chicken breast, sticky rice, edamames, sweet corn, cubed mango, and avocado: the ingredients are all there to create a colorful bowl, customizable with your favorite sauce.

Choose your chicken flavor from Texan, Souvlaki, or Teriyaki. Each kit makes about 4 to 5 bowls, depending on the portions served and added toppings.

The ingredients are vacuum-sealed separately and frozen. This allows you to prepare each component according to its instructions and then distribute the toppings your own way.

The chicken is raw and must be cooked before assembling the bowls. Sauce is not included.

Choose your chicken flavor

Texan

A flavor with smoky and bold spices, to give character to your poké bowl. Try it with a spicy mayonnaise and a squeeze of lime.

Souvlaki

A flavor inspired by Greek cuisine, to bring a Mediterranean touch to your meal. It goes well with a lemon yogurt sauce or the sauce of your choice.

Teriyaki

A lightly sweet and umami flavor that pairs perfectly with sticky rice, edamames, and mango.

Each kit includes only one chicken flavor: the one you select when ordering.

Each kit includes

  • Raw marinated chicken breast, in the chosen flavor

  • Sticky rice

  • Edamames

  • Sweet corn

  • Cubed mango

  • Avocado

The components are vacuum-sealed separately and frozen.

Add your favorite sauce at the time of serving to adjust the flavors to your liking.

Size and number of servings

One kit makes about 4 to 5 poké bowls.

The yield depends on appetite, ingredient distribution, and additions. You can make four generous bowls or divide the contents into five smaller portions.

For a family meal, present the ingredients separately in the center of the table. Everyone can choose how much chicken, rice, and toppings they want.

Why choose this poké bowl kit?

Ingredients gathered to simplify your menu

The kit gathers the base of your meal in one box. You only need to prepare the ingredients, cook the chicken, and choose your sauce.

It is a practical option for varying weeknight dinners, organizing a family meal, or preparing multiple portions.

Already marinated chicken breast

The chicken is already marinated, saving you from having to prepare a marinade. It simply needs to be cooked according to the instructions on its package before being sliced.

A bowl to customize

Mango, avocado, corn, and edamames allow for a variety of textures and flavors. Add more of your favorite topping and adjust the sauce at the time of serving.

Choose your flavor and add the kit to your cart for your next bowl meal.

Preparing the chicken poké bowl kit

1. Thaw the ingredients

Follow the instructions on each package for thawing in the refrigerator. Keep the raw chicken separate from the other components.

Plan for this step before the meal: thawing is not included in the assembly time.

2. Cook the chicken

Prepare the marinated chicken breast according to the instructions on its package. Follow the indicated method, duration, and internal temperature.

The chicken must be fully cooked before being added to the poké bowl.

3. Prepare the rice and toppings

Reheat the rice according to its package directions.

Prepare the edamames, corn, mango, and avocado according to their respective instructions. Edamames may require cooking: check their label before serving.

4. Slice the cooked chicken

Use a clean cutting board and utensils to slice the chicken after cooking.

5. Assemble the bowls

Divide the rice, then add the chicken, edamames, corn, mango, and avocado.

6. Add your sauce

Finish with your choice of sauce and any desired extra toppings.

Cooking and reheating

Cooking the chicken

The kit contains raw, marinated chicken breast. Use the instructions specific to the chosen variety for compatible methods, cooking times, and recommended internal temperature.

Parameters may vary depending on the appliance, the thickness of the breast, and the starting condition of the product.

Reheating the rice

Follow the instructions on the rice package to obtain a preparation suited to the product.

Reheating chicken after cooking

If you prepare the chicken in advance, follow the storage and reheating recommendations indicated on the package.

The instructions for cooking raw chicken should not be automatically used to reheat already cooked chicken.

DKL Tip

Prepare your bowls, sauce, and toppings while the chicken is cooking. Once the ingredients are ready, assembly will be easier.

Keep the raw chicken separate from other foods and use a clean cutting board and utensils after it is cooked.

For an elegant presentation, arrange the toppings in small sections around the sliced chicken, then serve the sauce on the side.

Customize your poké bowl

Sauce is not included in the kit. Choose the one you like:

  • Poké sauce

  • Teriyaki sauce

  • Spicy mayonnaise

  • Sriracha mayonnaise

  • Soy sauce

  • Ponzu sauce

Add it gradually to adjust the amount to your taste.

You can also complement your bowl with cucumber, radishes, green onions, sesame seeds, or a squeeze of lime. These additions are optional and not included in the kit.
